The SolarEdge Home Backup solution ensures reliable power during grid outages, day or night. Unused solar energy is stored in a battery, such as the SolarEdge Energy Bank, for use during outages, enhancing energy independence while also maximizing self-consumption and savings. The Backup Interface connects to the Home Hub inverter (sold separately) to provide flexible backup options for full or partial home loads. It also supports generator input for extended outages when solar energy is insufficient.
